Roanes was constructed from field recordings and live performances featuring the many folks surrounding Gamelan Pacifica and Gamelan Spontificus during the late nineties and early aughts. Inspired by the maritime nature of the locations where these sounds were gathered, Roanes is a reflection on our Selkie neighbors.
